This stylish and fabulous hotel is located near a church and a cathedral. Definitely want to stay in that area again, greatly enjoyed our really really nice stay here.

Had really really nice stay in this absolutely fabulous hotel, the staff were incredibly nice, location was perfect close to all atractions of Funchal. The room was basic but kept spotlessly clean and available with better comfort and bathroom plus an amazing view. Everything here was good.

If you're looking for a budget-friendly option in a great location, this may be worth considering. Located next to a popular attraction with a direct view from the window, it's convenient to everything from transportation to daily activities. Rooms are basic but clean and some have a surprisingly good shower. Breakfast is pretty basic, but good enough. Note that some staff only speak Portuguese, and the Wi-Fi is unprotected. While the decor is worn, it still offers comfortable rooms at an affordable price.

Convenient location close to the Cathedral of the city 😊. the beds were super comfy, and the room also had a handy work desk and a flat-screen TV with plenty of cable channels.

During my recent stay at a guesthouse in the center of Funchal, I was pleased with the cleanliness of the entire pension. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided. The guesthouse is conveniently located in the heart of Funchal, close to cafes, shops, and bus stops. The wifi in the rooms worked very well, allowing me to stay connected. The price of the accommodation was affordable, making it a great option for budget travelers.

I got more than I expected during my stay at this centrally located hotel. The room was clean and nicely furnished with charming, old wooden furniture that gave it a distinct Portuguese feel. The bed linen was clean and changed daily, ensuring a comfortable stay. The friendly hosts made me feel welcome and the modern elevator was a convenient addition. I especially enjoyed the beautiful view of the city from my room. the value for money was excellent and I would love to come back in the future.

One drawback was the noise from the street, particularly the Christmas songs that played until 10pm. That being said, it is to be expected given the hotel's central location.
